As I mentioned in yesterday’s post, Wes and I spent the day in Queens visiting Corey, Daisy and Desi.  Daisy had some work to do for her job, so she didn’t go to Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge with us.  We trekked through the refuge, being careful to avoid the poison ivy, which was sprouting everywhere, with our bins and our cameras, enjoying the beautiful day.  We saw lots of birds,  newly blooming flowers and plants and even goslings. I have ammunition for this blog for all week as quite a few came out really well.  The tough part will be deciding which ones to use.
