Early yesterday morning, I was up and checking e-mail when Corey came downstairs. He had his bins and his camera, “I’m going for a walk, Mom, want to come?” You don’t have to ask me twice. I grabbed my sneakers and camera, totally forgetting to get my bins–something I would regret as we walked. There was a migrating flock of warblers in the bushes. Corey spished and they came closer and closer, with me getting the resulting picture. There were lots of other warblers too, but each time he handed me his bins and I got them focused, the bird had moved. Next time, I will remember my bins, I will remember my bins, I will remember my bins…….
