When our kids were little, we put the delicate ornaments near the top of the tree. Then, grandchildren came along and now the cats. Breakable baubles will now and forevermore be way up high.
Wes and I went the the Christmas in the Village on Sunday afternoon. We strolled along the sidewalks, window shopped, drank hot cider and visited with friends we ran into. I bought a beautiful bracelet and earring set make with Christmasy colors. Wes wants to put it in my stocking. I want to wear it now, for the month of December. We’re negotiating.
We went to the library to see the display of Christmas trees. The rules were a two foot high tree decorated any way you chose. I think they are donated to a charity afterwards. Being I found out about it late, I didn’t enter, but next year for sure.
I love the month of December.
