Legos

A few weeks ago, Wes bought me a Lego windmill to build.  I had such fun doing it, I checked out the Lego web site to see what else  they had and found a winter village, complete with a lunch stand, a bakery, a candy store and a carousel.  The little stores were fun to build taking about an hour each.  The carousel was another story.  It was complicated, but I persevered, only asking Wes for a little bit of help ( usually for finding a missing piece in the pile on the cookie sheet).  The carousel turns with a little crank handle and the horses go up and down like a real carousel.  I moved some of my snowmen and put the village on display.  According to the web site, there is a new kit for the winter scene every year.  I may need a bigger display area.  :>)
