blue seed packs

I’ve heard it said that that scent is the strongest memory there is.   Of all the spring/Easter flowers, I think hyacinths have the most powerful scent.  Close your eyes and conjure the smell of hyacinths.  When I do that, I’m immediately transported to a warm spring day, the grass is greening up,  the ferns have sent up fiddleheads, and the smell of new growth is everywhere.  That’s what happened to me at Adam’s Flower Show.  I was in a spring day for just a little while, and it was wonderful.  It will happen again for real–soon, I hope.

The seed packets are bordered in blue for this week’s color, but they’re such fun to look at, and dream of the garden possibilities.
