Wes and I walked Poets’ Walk yesterday.  It’s a lovely park with views of the Hudson River and the Kingston-Rhinecliff Bridge, but my favorite part is the walk through the woods.  We saw trees and bushes beginning to bud out and lots of trout-lilies blooming. I was hoping to get a picture of a Jack-in-a-pulpit, but they weren’t blooming yet.  I’ll have to keep looking.  After the walk, we went to the Eveready Diner in Rhinebeck for lunch and then visited with Mom.  After a dinner of leftovers from the weekend, Wes is now, as I type this on Monday evening, watching the Cardinals play the Mets.  He said it was a very good birthday, and will be even better if the Cardinals win.
