ants and eggs

After Andrew’s nap on Friday, I took him outside.  He likes nothing better than to dig in the gravel pile and fill up his dump truck.  When he tired of that, I showed him how the tip up the rocks that edge our flower gardens and see what is hiding underneath.  He was fascinated by the earthworms, ants and various other insects we found.  When I picked the salamander up and put it on his palm, he quickly dropped it.  For Andrew, right now, looking is much better than touching.
