pink lily of the valley

We’ve had an intestinal flu making it’s way through our extended family.  Sunday was my turn (hence no post).  Monday was Wes’ turn, but we are on the mend and getting back to normal.  Raven feels she’s doomed–she’s probably right.

My cookbooks and quilting books are sorted.  Some I’ve kept, a lot less than I thought I would, but there’s lots of space on shelves now and I like it like that.  In fact, in just doing the act of sorting stuff, I am amazed on how much can be pitched.  I should do this every year.

The lily of the valley is in full bloom in our yard.  The fragrance makes every step outside a pleasure.  If only they would last longer than a week, but would we be tired of them then?
