Lighthouse Inn

Wes and I drove and drove to New Hampshire on Monday.  It’s one of those locations that looks not to far on the map, but when it comes to driving it, it takes quite a while.  We arrived at the Lighthouse Inn around 5pm and were greeted by our hosts, Mike and Pat.  We unloaded our car, (I always bring way too much stuff) and got a quick introduction to the area, complete with map, from Mike.  Feeling adventurous, Wes and I set out to find a restaurant for dinner.  We ended up in Meredith at the Hart’s Turkey Farm restaurant.  They served turkey in all possible forms (and salmon for me).  Wes said his turkey dinner was delicious, just like I make.  We walked down by Lake Winnipesauke after dinner to admire the clouds over the water.  It started to drizzle so we headed back to the inn.  While I’m typing this, Wes is watching the Cardinals play the Yankees in the lovely great room.   We are very cozy.
