yard sale

Six o’clock Saturday morning, my eyes popped open.  I had been dreaming it was raining and I jumped out of bed to peer out the window.  With great relief, I realized it was only a bit of breeze I heard in the hemlock trees.  Wes and I were setting up the tables and unloading the garage of all our items by  7:00.  The sale was supposed to start at 9, but, by 8, when I returned from taking Raven to work, we had already had had customers.  Being I was outside so early, the sun was just beginning to light up our yard and I couldn’t resist snapping the hosta.  They were so pretty with the sun shining through the leaves. (and that’s a much more artistic picture than our assorted stuff piled in the driveway)  We’re doing the yard sale again today.  If we make as much as yesterday, it will all have been worth it.
