Wes and I drove to Log Cabin Fabrics in Selkirk on Thursday morning.  We have a niece who is expecting a baby boy in late July and I wanted to get the fabrics for a baby quilt.  That accomplished, we headed back down 9W, instead of taking the Thruway, intending to stop at Black Horse Farms.  It’s a vegetable/food/gift/greenhouse etc. shop that we both enjoy looking through.  The displays are all artfully arranged, so it’s always a treat to browse.  We bought two loaves of bread, a dark red geranium and a six pack flat of vinca flowers, that are white with a red center (my favorite vincas).  Food for the body and soul, and yellow pictures, too.
