baby quilt   For the past week, I’ve been working on a Sudoku baby quilt. Nine different colors, nine blocks in an easy pattern. Twice, I had the whole quilt together with the borders on and realized I had turned a block so the Sudoku puzzle wasn’t solved.  I became well reacquainted with Jack (my seam ripper).  Finally, it was right and Thursday Wes and I spray basted the three layers together in preparation for machine quilting.  I quilted the sashings and two of the nine blocks. If there’s time today, I’ll do a little more.  Machine quilting is tough on my back and neck, mainly because I’m tense when I’m doing it, with my shoulders up around my ears, so I’ll do it for short periods of time, spread out over a few days. Being it’s not a large quilt, it won’t take long to finish,  then I’ll post a picture of the whole quilt. Until then, I’m using it as another photo of green.
