On July 7, Jessica turned 20.  Getting the family together for cake is no easy feat, so we had to wait until Friday evening to celebrate.  Jessica adores chocolate chip cookie dough in all forms, so she went hunting on the internet for recipes using cookie dough as an ingredient.  She found one that had you make the cookie dough into balls and freeze them.  The cake part was a yellow cake mix, mixed according to directions and scooped into cupcake tins.  The frozen cookie dough balls were dropped into each cupcake and baked.  (Andrew and Natasha loved the dropping of the balls in the batter)  Chocolate icing and sprinkles completed the recipe.  The verdict was “Yummy”.   While helping Jess search the internet for recipes, I found, on Amazon, a whole cookbook devoted to cookie dough recipes.  Cookie dough cheesecake, anyone? Raven liked that recipe, so for her birthday…..
