I guard my fabric scissors with a great amount of zeal, carefully putting them away after each use. My secondary pair of scissors is used for cutting paper fusible when it’s ironed on to fabric.  This pair doesn’t last forever, as paper cutting dulls them fast.  They get dulled even faster if I accidentally leave them on the kitchen table and they get used to cut up chicken.  I headed to Joann’s with a coupon to replace my scissors.  There’s all kinds of fall decorations out already in Joann’s, and since orange seems to be a fall color, I had my choice of items to snap for today’s picture. ( I also happen to love the scarecrows that are all over the craft stores for fall )  The lily in the top picture was taken in the Barnes and Noble parking lot. I don’t ever think I’ve seen such large lilies.  Orange week hasn’t been as difficult as I thought it would be, so far.
