cherries in blue bowl

On Sunday, after sharing ice cream (and beer)  Nancy, Katie, Naomi and I walked around the village.  We window shopped up and down Partition and Main Streets and entered a relatively new store called The Modern Dream.  This store sells handmade crafts such as quilts, jewelry and decorative items.  I found a pair of earrings and so did Nancy, along with a cool rug.  The store supports the Lesbian/Gay Alliance and rabbit rescue.  Underneath the cash register, was two bunnies, all stretched out asleep.  The shop keeper let us hold and pet one.  The picture is my niece Naomi cuddling a bunny.

The second picture is of cherries in a blue bowl, because this week is, you guessed it, blue  week, the last week of the color series.  This color/colour lovers program has been such fun I’m sorry to see it end.  It could be extended—polka dot, stripe, vermilion–the possibilities are endless.
