seed pods

For the past couple of weeks, I’ve been semi-participating in an on-line iPhone photography class.   The assignments have been a bit more difficult than other classes I have taken, but as a result, I’m thinking more about composing my pictures–actually taking a picture instead of a snapshot.  One of the assignments this week was “lines”.  The fruit picture from yesterday was one I used, and the columbine seed pods in today’s post, was also. Going back, the picture of Wes and Corey in silhouette was also an assignment.  The heart shaped morning glory leaves are also in a line, so that picture qualifies too, with a loose interpretation.  It’s been fun and I’ve learned a lot, not only from my pictures, but from the gallery of pictures of my classmates.
