morning glory

Late Friday afternoon, Andrew had had it with being cooped up all day.  He asked for some goldfish and wanted to eat them outside.  Being it wasn’t raining , just very wet out, we headed to the back yard.  It was too wet to swing, or even sit on the deck benches, so after the goldfish were gone, we took a walk around the circle.  There were lots of puddles and where there’s puddles there’s a little boy.  He had sandals on, so walking in the water was okay, but then he decided to sit down.  He was already wearing his second pair of shorts for the day, after an ice cream cone experience, so what’s one more pair.   We came home to wash him up, change his shorts, apply a band-aid to a scraped knee and send him home with Natasha and Jonathan.  It was a good day!

The morning glory picture was taken late afternoon, too.  There was a leaf shading the flower and no sun, so the morning glories lasted much longer.
