grasshopper

I love it when Wes calls me outside and tells me to bring my camera.  Yesterday morning, on the Black-eyed Susans, there was a little tree frog.  I checked as I was typing this post at 7pm and the frog was still there.  A few flowers away, there was a katydid.  I looked up katydids to make sure it was one, and not a grasshopper, and found out that katydids have antennae that are longer than their bodies.  Grasshoppers have short thick antennae.  So, now I (and you) will always be able to tell the difference.
