The minute I turn the calendar from August to September, I start thinking of fall foods. I crave soup and chili and the lettuce left in the fridge can rot. Maybe it’s because this month’s wall hanging is the perfect depiction of fall with winter squash, apples and sunflowers or maybe it’s time for summer to be over. With high 80’s and humidity predicted for the next couple of days, I’ll wait on the chili and eat up the lettuce before it rots.
