I stopped in Adams Saturday afternoon to pick up some vegetables.  There was a display at the entrance of fresh cider donuts, which smelled heavenly, and other fall treats, along with pumpkins, corn stalks and small decorative gourds.  I like to put a basket on my entryway table, so I purchased a few.  Maggie and Maizie were very interested in the gourds, giving them a good sniffing over.  Last year, I kept finding the gourds on the floor in the morning and two very innocent cat faces looking at me.  Hopefully, they’ve forgotten that trick.  We’ll see.

PS I am going to change the tablecloth–it’s a bit busy.
