In another week, we’ll be in a new season. The summer went so fast that the memories are already blurring. Wes, Paul and I covered the pool yesterday. Guess who had to crawl under the deck to to string the cord through the cover? There was a LOT of spider webs under there. Shudder! The black-eyed Susans, a very long lived flower, are finally losing their petals. I made my first pot of fall vegetable soup for dinner last night. I used some left over corn on the cob in it, seaming together two seasons. For the past couple of days, I’ve been wearing socks and sneakers–early for me to make the switch from flip flops. Ahhh, fall.
