The squirrels destroyed all the morning glories that were growing and blooming on the trellis outside my kitchen window.  They pulled the leaves and flowers off and dropped them on the deck.  Instead of seeing happy flower faces when I look out the kitchen window in the morning, I see bare wood.  The morning glories that are growing on the fence around the ex-vegetable garden are still going strong with lots of flowers every day, that I’ve documented here over the summer.  This morning glory is an independent one.  It’s growing about two feet from the garden, in the middle of the grass, with nothing to climb on.  Bloom where you are planted.  We could all take that to heart.
