Leslie and I walked yesterday morning at 7am. It was only an occasional raindrop falling when we left. An hour and a quarter later, it was a different story. We were drenched and ready for a warm shower. It never rained hard while we were walking, but it was a steady drizzle/mist that soaked us. That shower did feel good. It’s amazing how fast the body warmth from walking turns to chill when you stop moving. On my front porch are a couple of mums Wes hasn’t planted yet. After being out in the rain, they are definitely more photogenic than I was.
