quilting detail

Cathy and I entered quilts in the Wiltwyck quilt show this weekend.  We put them in for display only, not to be judged.  It’s such a kick, when you walk into a show, and see your own quilt hanging up. In the top pic, the quilt on the left is my house quilt and the view is the rest of the aisle of quilts.

The bottom picture is a close-up snap of some machine quilting.  Cathy and I are always on the lookout for new quilting motifs and what better place to find them than a show.  Notice the quilting in the black triangles too–it’s another neat motif.  Quilt shows are a chance to blow our own horns and also to find inspiration.  What fun!
