We made 20 quarts of applesauce yesterday.  I hand picked, from the bins in Adams, large apples, to make the cutting up easier.  We cut up about 100 apples, cooked them until soft and then Wes ran them through the Squeezo.  The applesauce comes out one side and the skins and pits come out the other.  It’s by far, the easiest, fastest way to make applesauce.  We both love it warm, right out of the Squeezo, with a sprinkle of cinnamon.  There’s potato pancakes in our future and, possibly, an applesauce cake.  And, many, many dishes of applesauce….
