I had a small plastic cabinet with two drawers full of thread. And, because the thread was all jumbled in together, it looks like a demented spider’s web. When Cathy and I were at the quilt retreat, the leader had her thread all organized in carrying cases. I immediately had thread envy and asked her where she bought the cases. “Joann’s,” was her answer. Thursday, with the cases on sale for 40% off and a 25% coupon good on the total purchase, I bought two cases and organized my thread in rainbow order. ( I realize I’m a little OCD.) Yesterday, I needed a lavender thread and picked out the exact shade easily. It doesn’t take much to make me happy….The problem is I have a few spools left over that didn’t fit in either case. The sale is over too, so I still have some spools jumbled in the drawer. I’ll keep watching for the next sale….
