After the hustle and bustle of the past week, it was nice to have a “down” day. I did a bit of shopping after I visited Mom, but my heart wasn’t really into a major Christmas shopping expedition. So, I did a return a Kohl’s, bought bananas and veggies in Adams and came home. Wes asked if I wanted a fire and being I had intentions of sewing, I said yes. I spent most of the afternoon in the cozy family room working on a Christmas table runner. Before dinner the top was pieced. Now I just have to decide how to quilt it. It was a good day, restful and productive.
