Mr. and Mrs. Claus and Rudolph

Wes and I went to the funeral, yesterday, of a good friend.  Doing something like that always makes me think about living in the moment, appreciating life and love and, mostly, enjoying each and every one of our relatives and friends for as long as we have them. Because it’s always not long enough, never.  And again, we didn’t realize, until it was too late. While I have been better about living in the moment, it’s always good to get a reminder, but not in this way.

With the weather being lousy and needing a pick up, I opened the Lego set Wes gave me for my birthday.  I am always blown away by the cleverness of the Lego designers.  The little pieces fit just right and are used in such creative ways than what was once an arm from a space alien, is now perfect for the antlers of the reindeer. I have one more section of Santa’s house to build, but once it gets dark the similar colors are difficult to distinguish, so I’m saving that for a spare afternoon hour soon. I get so excited, I want to get it done!
