The day after Christmas is always a welcome quiet time. We spent the day with Corey, Daisy and Desi. We visited Mom in Ten Broeck and went out for lunch at the newish Indian/Thai place in Kingston. Corey and family then went to visit with Jonathan for a few hours while Wes and I picked up our house a bit. There was scraps of wrapping paper and other odds and ends that needed to be put away. When Desi got back, we played with play doh, did a giant 100 piece puzzle, played Whirly Word on my phone and generally enjoyed our out-of-town grandson (and his parents) All too soon, it was time for them to pack up the gifts, cookies and clean laundry and head back to Queens. We’re missing them already.
