The best time of day to take pictures, I think, is early in the morning. The slanted sun was from my walk this morning. Granted–it wasn’t too early (8:15) by the time I got around to this side of the circle, but the sun was still at enough of an angle to make a cool picture.
The second picture is a the One Block Wonder I’ve been working on. There’s at least a million different layouts and each one is pretty. I haven’t hit “the One” yet. The design board is jammed onto the sideboard in the dining room. My first attempt was with the design board leaning against the ironing board. One of the cats walked behind it, down it went and all the blocks fell off. Now that I’ve moved it to the dining room, Maggie has taken to sleeping in front of it. I know she’ll find a way to knock it down, but that may lead to another beautiful setting.
You never know how you are going to find the best layout for you! The kitties just might be your answer. However you are looking for the good in everything and that is a plus!
