I just finished this Blessings of Spring quilt from Shabby Fabrics.  It was constructed as a block of the month and then my friend Kate Mitchell and her son, Justin, machine quilted it for me. After I hand sewed the binding, there was a bunch of buttons to sew on too.  My favorite part is the sparkly buttons falling from the watering can like water.watering can angel

I absolutely love making projects from Shabby Fabrics.  The kits are well organized and the directions are clear. In fact, I’m working on two more of their quilts as blocks of the month.  Keeping busy……
