pot of Korma

No, I didn’t spell Karma wrong, Korma is an Indian dish. I receive an daily e-mail from AllRecipes.com.  Most days, I glance at the recipe and delete the e-mail.  Yesterday, I didn’t and this wonderful pot of food was the result.  I love reading the comments about how cooks made the recipe their own with changes or additions.  Usually, I make the recipe as written the first time, then change it.  This recipe, I changed right away.  It called for a cup of heavy cream, and I substituted coconut milk as several comments had suggested, to cut down on fat.  I also added more veggies, a can of chick peas to make it a complete meal, and changed the spices too.  Basically, it wasn’t anything like the basic recipe, but it was delicious served over brown basmati rice  with a piece of Naan on the side.
