Yesterday Wes and I took care of Andrew all day. In spite of having a wonderful photo subject readily available, I didn’t take one single picture. When I cleaned and sorted my fabric stash, I found a whole pile of puzzles for ages 2-5 that had been missing for a while. (in fact, Desi never did these puzzles as they’ve been missing that long) Andrew loved them, so we spent the entire day, except when he was eating, doing puzzles–over and over again. He especially loved a Superman puzzle, which led to a whole discussion of Superman’s cape and us looking at pictures of Superman on the computer. Bottom line–expect to see some pictures of Andrew in a cape as I found a reasonably priced, reversible from Superman to Batman one on Amazon. So, instead of pictures of Andrew working very hard doing puzzles, I had to improvise with a sneak peek of small wall hanging I am working on. I have quilting yet to do, along with some button sewing and a few other touches, but it didn’t get worked on yesterday, I was the puzzle coach. It probably won’t get worked on today either as Andrew will be here again. One thing, I can’t sit on the floor and do puzzles for that long again, we have to move to the dining room table.
The sneak peek was lovely! Lucky Andrew!
