evening lake scene

The first picture is from an early morning walk.  It’s surprising how dark the road looks, but it was actually quite light and very safe to be walking.  The second picture is another small wall hanging I’ve just finished.  This is also a pattern from Sue Pritt, but this one came as a kit, and for once, I didn’t change a single fabric.  I even skimped as much as possible on the loon fabric to have some left over, in case I want to make this pattern again.  The black and white dot was perfect and who knows if I’d ever find such a good one again. ( and no, I don’t have anything that would possibly work in my stash)  I’m now working on another UFO (unfinished object) that’s become an obsession.  If I keep busy, I don’t dwell as much….
