After a weekend away, there’s lots to catch up on around here. I did laundry, we grocery shopped and made a to do list for Easter. The top picture is the bouquets of flowers in the middle of CVS. I always think of Easter as pastel colors, so these bright ones were a real treat. The second picture is the marigold I received free at the Adams spring flower show. It’s been on my kitchen windowsill since, and I was delight when I arrived home on Sunday and saw it had bloomed again with two flowers. You will notice there is only one flower in the picture. Someone, who shall remain nameless, was washing dishes and bumped the second flower with a large pot, breaking it.
The third picture is the dumplings I made for dinner last night to go with the small pork roast Wes cooked. Dumplings are kind of tricky, and these came out perfect. All in all, it was a win, win day.
