embroidery

Last summer, I think, I bought a tiny vase for the windowsill over my kitchen sink.  Since then, I’ve kept a single flower in it.  This little vase has brought me so much pleasure, I urge everyone to do it.  That little bit of beauty does a lot for me each day.  I wonder I got by for so long without it.  The second picture is a piece of embroidery I started last night at my quilting group.  I love to embroider and it’s a good thing–this is going to be a LONG project.
