On Sunday, I drove into Kingston to get Wes a birthday present. After burning up the credit card, :>), I drove home the back way specifically to look for Colt’s foot. There was lots of it blooming, along with a few other early flowers. I have no idea what these purple ones are, but there was lots of them too. There was also forsythia starting to bloom. Has anyone else noticed that the forsythia seems a bit sparse this year? It must have been the extreme cold.
I like when the trees lose the stark definition of the branches and get “fuzzy” with the developing leaves.
The skunk cabbage picture is from my walk with Bonnie in the morning. The leaves are incredibly soft; I wanted to keep petting them.
I guess spring is really here.
