Wes and I had several errands to run in town yesterday. To save time, he dropped me off on Main Street while he went to the bank. I stopped in Mother Earth and the Village Apothecary, then headed to Price Chopper. Along Ulster Avenue there was lots of flowers blooming in yards. I enjoyed the flowers and the fragrance as I walked.
One house had a whole string of tulips along a white picket fence. I managed to snap pictures without falling over this time.
When I stood up, I noticed the owner of the house was standing in his driveway. I complimented him on his beautiful tulips and he told me his son had brought the bulbs from Holland. He also told me to stop back in the summer to see the roses covering the fence. I will definitely do that, but I also think that before the spring flowers are done blooming, I will take another walk around the village.
