windowboxOn Wednesday evening our fine dining club (8 friends who have been doing this for years) met for dinner at Terrapin in Rhinebeck. It is a lovely restaurant converted from a church, with high ceilings,  huge windows and beautiful flowers on the outside.  The food and the friendship were wonderful, lots of laughs and stories told around the table.  dessert

Wes had a pork chop that was so large he finished it for the next day’s lunch.  My artichoke and ricotta ravioli, were delicious, if a bit garlicky. Pictured is my dessert–a berry cake with sauce, served warm with a tiny scoop of ice cream. I definitely go back, if only for the dessert.
