view of the bridgeOn Friday, Wes and I met up with some friends, (part of our fine dining group) for First Friday dinner at Diamond Mills.  It was the first time Wes and I had dinner there and we plan on going back.  The theme for this dinner was Italian. There was four kinds of salad, delicious bread (salad and bread would have been enough for me–it was that good!), peel and eat shrimp, eggplant Parmesan (wonderful!!), sausage and peppers, lamb and a few other things I’m forgetting.  There was five kinds of gelato for dessert, along with Tiramisu and a strawberry shortcake.  Oh, yeah, we’re going back…… I wonder what the theme is for next month.  (Also, as I’m typing this on Saturday evening at 8:20 pm, I haven’t had dinner yet.  That could be the reason the memory of Friday’s dinner is so good)

It started to rain just as we finished eating, but I dashed out on the deck to snap two quick pictures of the view. Mothers Day geranium

I also had to include a picture of the geranium I received for Mother’s Day.  It’s growing and blooming like crazy.
