After the parade and after the whole family came here for lunch, it settled down to a quiet afternoon yesterday. While Wes watched the Cardinals play, Corey, Daisy, Desi and I went for a walk.
I saw my first Queen Anne’s Lace of the summer.
Daisy and I picked and ate handfuls of blackcaps.
I saw my shadow off the same bridge.
Desi examines something on his hand. He enjoyed dropping rock through the holes in the bridge.
Pretty butter and eggs flowers, washed by the rain.
We finished up the day with rerun of the sandwiches for dinner, then headed into town to watch the fireworks. There may have been some fried dough for dessert ( a once a year treat)
Sounds like a good day with family! Love the photos!
