Wednesday with Desi

We spent yesterday at home. It was just too hot and humid to go anywhere. Desi and I played Frisbee outside for a short, very short while, but then took refuge in the AC. We did bake peanut butter cookies though. He claimed not to like peanut butter cookies, but changed his mind when they came out of the oven.
Desi also saw my Christmas Lego storage tub in the cellar and spent a happy hour playing with all the pieces.
Wes also took him in the pool for about 5 full minutes. The water is still only 72 degrees and he was shivering very quickly. He did enjoy the squirt gun though.
We also went to the library for a bug lecture and a bug hunt in the gardens in front of the the library. It was interesting, but there was a lot of children there, so it was hard to hunt as the gardens aren’t that large.
We are thoroughly enjoying our middle grandson.
