Monday morning I awakened very early, as I’ve been doing recently. There was a lot on my mind as we had a busy day ahead. I had been to the grocery store the day before, but had thought of a few more items once I got home. Being I was up, I headed out the door for a quick trip to Wal Mart in Catskill for the rest of my list. I had just over an hour before I was due to meet Leslie for our morning walk at 7. Twenty minutes there, twenty minutes back and twenty minutes to shop. Certainly doable, until I passed Story’s farm stand and turned onto Route 23. The sunrise, the mist, the open space–it took my breath away.
I had to stop. Regretting that I only had my iPhone with me, I snapped pictures anyway.I keep looking at the top picture with the solitary tree and like it more each time. I’m going to print that one for framing.
Also, instead of parking myself by my sewing machine when I wake up early, I may just go on a little excursion.
Beautiful pictures!
