After shopping in Adams for fresh vegetables, then driving to Story Farm for fresh corn and tomatoes, I was ready to spend the remaining hours of the afternoon inside.  I finished these two blocks a couple of days ago.  I may have written this before, but this quilt is a lot of fun.  I’m enjoying picking out the perfect pieces of fabric and a few times have remade a piece, when I found a fabric I liked better.mini quilt

This teeny little quilt measures 2 1/2 inches by 4 1/2 inches.  The strips were cut one inch wide, so the little squares finish at 1/2 inch square.  I’ve seen bed size quilts made with one inch squares to finish 1/2 inch.  I will never make one of them.

The next block I’m working on is a wash line and this little quilt will hang on it, along with  articles of clothing.

Fun, fun, fun!
