Cathy and I went to a small quilt show at a middle school in Windham on Saturday. We enjoyed the quilts and took a few pictures. We even took measurements of one quilt with a borrowed tape measure. Who knows–it may be a future project. Each year the ladies of this guild make a special display on the stage at the school. This year it was vintage accessories. There were hats, fancy lace handkerchiefs, and purses on display, hearkening back to a time when women wore hats and always carried a handkerchief. It was a lovely addition to the show.
