I have always loved the colors of these three summer flowers. Someday, I will make a very feminine quilt using this picture as inspiration.
I have completed two more blocks. The kitty one will get something for them to look at, a butterfly button or a bird, but not until it’s quilted. I actually made the background for this block twice. The first one gave me fits, whether it was my error or the pattern, or some combination of the two, I am very glad it’s done. 
The second block is fanciful and I’m not sure I’m going to use it. The other blocks are depictions of real things, while this one is a little out there. The only problem would be coming up with a replacement. Any ideas?
