Dinner at North Lake

Corey, Daisy and Desi and two friends camped at North Lake last night. Wes, Jonathan, Natasha, Andrew and I went up in the late afternoon to join them for a picnic dinner. We parked at their campsite and they weren’t there, but from the beach, they saw Jonathan’s bright shirt across the lake, so Corey came to meet us as we were walking to the beach.
In the second picture, we had walked to the Mountain House site and Andrew wanted to be close to the edge without holding someone’s hand. Jonathan won that round, of course,
and Andrew, very nicely, held hands and admired the view. 
The view is lovely.
Back at the campsite, Desi and Andrew share a chair while waiting for hamburgers to cook.
Natasha is waiting for the perfect time to put cheese on her cooking hamburger.
We roasted marshmallows, played Frisbee, talked and laughed a lot. It was a lovely evening, spent with the people I love, and that’s the best part of it all.
