For some reason, maybe because I picked them out, there’s a lot of purple in our backyard this year. We bought this hanging basket at Story Farm, but neither of us can remember the name of it. It is doing beautifully though.
The pansies are usually history by this time in the summer, but the two pots of them I have are still blooming away.
The clematis is blooming and blooming. What a gorgeous, intense color!
And, of course, there’s morning glories.
We do have other colors, but this is what I see when I look out the window over the kitchen sink.
It makes me happy.
