Wes was working on the pool and I was wandering around the yard, ready to be helpful, but actually just staying out of his way. The bee balm had a very cooperative dragonfly perched on the left side of the flower. I crept closer and closer until my iPhone wouldn’t focus, then it finally flew.
The second picture is the little cosmo hidden in the black eyed Susans.
This picture is of the second block in the Farm Girl Vintage book. I’m including it under the little things heading as the block, as are all the blocks in the book, is only 6 inches square. That makes some of the pieces used in it only one inch square. I’d say that qualifies. This block was a beast to piece with all the points to match and I did some time with Jack the Ripper, but it finally worked out. Thank goodness, the next one looks easier.
