I realize I may be a bit obsessed with the morning glories. Every morning there’s new ones and there’s always a pretty arrangement of them to photograph. One of the hints for photographers is to have a diagonal element in your pictures to add interest. This one certainly meets that criteria.
The second picture is from my morning walk. The sun is a little stronger in the picture than I’d normally like, but the transparency of the leaves is so cool.
And, lastly, I have another 6 inch block done. I am removing the little embroidered X where his eye should be and sewing a tiny black button instead, but after the quilt is all done. I think it will look much better. The eye is positioned like that because the top 1/4 inch is the seam allowance. I still have the eye too low though. Sometimes the mistakes show up better in pictures.
your morning glories are beautiful!
